Results of balloon valvuloplasty in 40 dogs with pulmonic stenosis
Overall, 37 out of the 40 dogs (93 per cent) were successfully ballooned, resulting in a mean reduction in the pressure gradient of 46 per cent, with a mean pressure gradient of 124 mmHg on presentation and 67 mmHg six months after the procedure. Three dogs died during balloon valvuloplasty (all of which had a concurrent defect) and three dogs showed a poor clinical response to the procedure.

Anesthetizing Kidney Failure Cat For Tooth Extractions; Dental Blocks

There are 2 blocks routinely used, the infraorbital and the mandibular block. With the mandibular block, you can approach it either extra-oral or intra-oral ...
Low Cost Spays And Clients
I am so ashamed... Why are we not spaying these animals for free and reimbursing the client the $20? May people never cease to amaze!
Laser Surgery and Postop Pain
I see a tremendous reduction in pain on certain procedures, however it is JUST a cutting tool. If you go in and rearrange a dog's insides looking for a retained testicle you are causing pain regardless of what you used to open them up. Cat declaws are amazingly comfortable, but you couldn't get me to give up my pain protocols. Pain control is a must no matter what in my eyes.
