Tips For Breaking The Ligament During Spays
I have yet to figure out a way to reliably break down the suspensory ligament in big dogs. There was one big girl where I managed to bruise both of my index finger tips from strumming, plucking, stretching, etc., and still didn't break it down. Any suggestions?
How Many Pups Do You See?
I always report the number of pups saying, "There are at least X number." In other words, you tend to miss pups rather than report too many.
Ketamine CRI, Renal Impairement, Endotoxemia
I'm not convinced that we can protect the kidneys from the deleterious effects of NSAIDs -- even COX-2 specific NSAIDs. While the COX-2 inhibitors are obviously very good anti-inflammatory drugs, we're dealing with the whole animal, not macrophage cultures.
