It's ACVIM/CVMA Week! Many VIN Consultants will be attending the ACVIM Forum and CVMA Convention this week. Please be patient if responses are a bit slower than usual.
If you work in a multi-doctor practice, you want to make sure you are accessing and posting under your own name so you can enjoy your own personalized settings and MyStuff (and protect your identity!) Logging out will also keep you from leaving your identity vulnerable and/or accidentally impersonating a colleague. This hasn't always been an easy task. The solution is to set http://Beta.vin.com as the way you enter VIN. The new VIN security system we are testing on Beta.vin.com NOW has a log out function on EVERY PAGE including the secondary security page. Please give http://Beta.vin.com a good work out. We promise that everything we ask you to test on http://Beta.vin.com has gone through rigorous testing by many VINners -- and will not cause you to experience the headaches that can come with early versions of software. Beyond being the first to enjoy new features that will enhance your VIN experience -- your feedback and suggestions will help the VIN Wizards put the final touches on new VIN features and speed moving them to http://WWW.vin.com . And as always, please let us know if you find any problems using either http://WWW.vin.com or http://Beta.vin.com. VIN News Service Needs Your Feedback NEWS THAT'S FIT TO CLICK and discuss
Be a VIN Newshound: Share News with nonVINners -- The VIN News Service (without access to the community discussions) is now publicly available at news.vin.com. Check it out and share it.
Browse information relating to a wide variety of species including birds, exotics, ruminants and small mammals. Check out links to helpful VIN resources including slide shows, videos and journal articles, as well as links to pertinent external resources. The Diagnostic Imaging Center can be reached through the Specialty Center page in the VIN Library and the About Page of the Diagnostic Imaging folder.
To get in touch with a VINner directly, go to MyVIN>Colleague>Search. Even if they haven't listed their email address or phone number, you can still send them a message through VIN using the Email icon on their profile page. Create your My Colleagues List and set your profile preferences any time, from any computer where you have Internet access.

If you'd like to take the live sessions, e-mail Nate at Nate@VIN.com, and tell him you'd like to sign up for the How To Course. To keep up with VIN's growth, take the time to explore the Front Page at least once a week, read the VIN This Week (VINTW) newsletter twice a week, explore the VINDEX (VIN's Front Page, right hand column) and click all the buttons on VIN's navigation bars.
