Antihistamines in the Management of Canine Atopic Dermatitis: A Retrospective Study of 171 Dogs (1992-1998)
Fifty-four percent of 166 dogs given antihistamines responded favorably to these treatments, with 27% of the responses rated as good and 27% rated as moderate. Diphenhydramine and hydroxyzine were the most commonly used antihistamines and were the most frequently effective. Chlorpheniramine and clemastine were administered less frequently and had much lower positive response rates.

Effect of Clindamycin Hydrochloride on Gingival Crevicular Fluid and Immune Mediators in Beagles
In both series, plaque and gingival indices dropped significantly in dogs treated with clindamycin. .. The antimicrobial effect of clindamycin is not only due to high levels in the blood and saliva, but also to its presence in the gingival crevice.

Evaluation of the In Vitro Cytotoxicity of Mitoxantrone Following Repeated Freeze-Thaw Cycles
Results indicated mitoxantrone maintained its cytotoxicity against cancer cells in culture following multiple freeze-thaw cycles spanning at least 12 months.

Plasma Concentrations of Enrofloxacin and Its Active Metabolite Ciprofloxacin in Dogs Following Single Oral Administration of Enrofloxacin at 7.5, 10, or 20 mg/kg
For organisms with a minimum inhibitory con-centration (MIC) of 0.5 ug enrofloxacin/ml, an inhibitory quotient (IQ; Cmax:MIC) of 8 or more was achieved in plasma only at 20 mg/kg.

Closing Office At Midday?
I hope you are young and strong, because these hours don't bode well for physical or mental health. Heck yes, close down for a couple of hours during the day. Take a break; if you insist, get some work done, but a siesta would be a better idea.

Eye Infections In Young Kittens
The most important facet of treatment is to open the eyes (if not yet open) and flush out the purulent material frequently. If the purulent debris is allowed to accumulate beneath the closed lids, severe corneal ulceration and scarring of the cornea or conjunctiva can occur.

People Trying To Get Drugs
I had a known drug-using client who owned big cats call me in a panic saying he was calling me on his cell phone. He was trapped in a cage with a cougar and was sending his wife over for some ketamine to dart the cat. Yeah, right. Surprisingly, he survived to try to cheat me on another day.

Cat Pawing At Face
I *hate* these cats! I've had at least 3 that were doing this, and it's always a hunt to find out what the problem is.
