Colorado State University, 1993 Professional: I am a solo small animal practitioner in Northern Wyoming, about 80 miles east of the east entrance to Yellowstone. I opened my own practice in 1995 and have been here ever since. I love private practice. After 11 years of practicing, I now understand why it is called 'practice'! I have been a member of VIN since the spring of 1993 and have used it on a daily basis ever since. Working alone, I rely heavily on VIN for insight into my cases and professional conversations. The Humor board is my favorite haunt! Personal: I am married with 2 sons, Roy and Edward. We share our abode with 2 cats and 3 dogs. In addition, I have quite a few clinic cats. Both of my boys swim competitively and so I spend a lot of time traveling to swim practice in town and swim meets around the state of Wyoming. I am a referee and so I also work at all of these swim meets. Summer weekends are spent in the mountains camping with the boys. We love to hike and mountain bike. And really, nothing beats sitting around the campfire, just staring at the flames below and the stars above. My hobbies include reading anything non-veterinary related, camping, fishing and officiating at swim meets. Favourite Quote: Nothing is foolproof to the sufficiently talented fool. |
