Lillian Roberts graduated from the University of Missouri in 1987, and immediately moved to California. After completing her internship at private hospitals in the Bay Area, she spent a year in equine practice before settling into 8 years of emergency work near Palm Springs. In 1996, she opened Country Club Animal Clinic in Palm Desert, CA -- a fine place to live and work. "I joined VIN right after opening my doors," she says. "It has kept me in touch with specialists and helps me stay current on the latest news in veterinary medicine. I don't know how anyone practices without it!" Dr. Roberts has also published the Andi Pauling veterinary mystery novel series and EMERGENCY VET: TRUE STORIES FROM THE ANIMAL ER, all of which may be found from various used book venues. She enjoys world travel, nature and wildlife photography, kayaking and SCUBA diving, and many other outdoor activities. |
