COURSE OBJECTIVES:
To provide the Veterinarian/technician with a basic knowledge of what makes the web work as well how to create and design web pages for the veterinary practice. We will also touch on how to select a Web hosting service, based on individual needs. The course has 6 real time sessions with projects to be turned into the course instructors via email. The "Final" project is a small website -- this can be your clinic's site or a made-up entity.
TOPICS:
Week 1 -- What Makes the Web work?
Week 2 -- Web page design for veterinary practice
Week 3 -- How is a Web page created? The basic of HTML
Week 4 -- How to use HTML to build real design?
Week 5 -- Site Assignments and HTML building tools?
-- two weeks between the 5th and 6th classes --
Week 6 -- How to select a Web Hosting service/Review of course
