COURSE DESCRIPTION
This two-session course will detail the diagnosis and medical management of canine hyperadrenocorticism.
Topics to be covered:
Week 1 (February 21): Diagnosis of Hyperadrenocorticism: Clinical signs, minimum database findings, and definitive diagnosis (including screening and differentiating tests). (Lathan)
Week 2 (February 28): Treatment of Hyperadrenocorticism: Medical treatment and monitoring (including mitotane and trilostane), treatment complications, and other modes of treatment. (Archer)
