SAIM 600-0601: Update on Leptospirosis

COURSE DESCRIPTION
This short course will present current information on leptospirosis in small animals. The panel will discuss the clinical manifestations of leptospirosis and the serovars responsible for the disease, as well as the diagnosis, treatment, control, and prevention of this important zoonosis.

At the end of this course, participants will be better able to:

  1. prevent, diagnose, treat and control leptospirosis in small animals.
  2. prevent spread of this zoonotic agent to members of the veterinary staff

Discussions will begin on the start date of the course, and will continue for 10 days following the real time session.

CE HOURS: 1.5

TUITION: FREE (tuition sponsored by Fort Dodge Animal Health)
Course requires ADVANCE registration for CREDIT.
CE certificates will be given only to those who register before Thursday, 5 pm PDT on June 7.
Attendance at the Real-Time Session is open to all and does not require registration.
