COURSE DESCRIPTION

1. Review text information and cases posted on message board the week before course real-time session.
2. Real-time session will cover the various differentials, diagnostic procedures, prognosis and treatment of tumors of this area.
3. Particular emphasis will be placed on practical approaches to these tumors,with minor amounts of time spent on current research in the field
4. Cases will be discussed and questions answered on the message board after the real-time session.

At the end of this course, participants will be better able to:

1. Know the differentials for the various anatomical sites in the head & neck region of cats
2. Understand the best diagnostic approaches to the differentials listed in #1
3. Know the various treatments and prognoses of head & neck tumors in cats
4. Understand where the research is taking us for the future treatment of cats with head & neck tumors

COURSE WITHDRAWAL AND REFUND POLICY: Withdrawal prior to the listed start date of a course entitles the registrant to a complete refund or a credit toward a future VIN CE course, whichever is preferred. Withdrawal within 1 week after the listed start date (i.e. including no more than one real-time session) entitles the registrant to a credit toward any future VIN CE course. (Does not apply to courses with only one real-time session.) After the first real-time session, a registrant may withdraw due to special circumstances and receive prorated credit towards a future VIN course. These requests will be handled on an individual basis. The amount of the prorated credit will be determined based on 65% of the time remaining in the course at the time of withdrawal.
