COURSE DESCRIPTION
This short course will present current information on the interpretation of all aspects of the complete blood count in dogs and cats. It is intended as a practical course in how to approach and understand the twenty-first century hemogram reviewing the "standard" analytes and discussing some of the applicable "new" analytes (e.g.: MPV, plateletcrit, flow cytograms, what a true "complete hemogram" is, red cell and platelet distribution widths, and more..) The focus of this course will be clinical applications.
At the end of this course, participants will be better able to:

Attendance at the Interactive Session is open to veterinarians and veterinary students and does not require registration.
Advance registration only required for CE Credit.
Participation by veterinary technicians is for VSPN members only and requires registration for CE credit.
CE certificates will be given only to those who register before Thursday, 5 pm PDT on July 25th, 2002.
